I, Diego "Sweater V" Mir, want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who voted for me in the NHS Vice President election on May 22, 2025. Your support means the world to me, and I’m truly honored to have had the opportunity to run for this position.
Thank you to the students, teachers, family, and friends who believed in my vision of bringing less chaos and more clarity to our National Honor Society. Whether I’ve been elected or not, I’m deeply grateful for the encouragement and trust you’ve shown me throughout this campaign.

Vision for NHS
I want to serve as Vice President because I believe NHS deserves smart leadership that knows how to organize, plan, and deliver. Our National Honor Society has incredible potential, but we need focused leadership to reach our goals.
If elected, I'll make sure we run smoother than ever. Less chaos, more clarity. My three-point plan focuses on better organization of service projects, clear communication with members, and meaningful leadership opportunities for everyone.
Let's make NHS something we're all proud to be part of. With the support of our valedictorian and many other respected students, I'm confident we can transform NHS into the best version it's ever been.
Meet Diego Mir
Known around campus as "Sweater V from the L", I’m a 15-year-old student at Harrison School for the Arts with a passion for leadership and organization. The nickname comes from my signature sweater vests; a small symbol of how I approach everything: with intention, consistency, and style.
I’m running for NHS Vice President because I believe our chapter deserves focused, strategic leadership. If elected, I’ll bring clarity to the chaos, ensuring projects run smoothly, communication stays clear, and every member has a meaningful opportunity to lead.
